Biography
Victor Font is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, where he leverages his extensive experience advising and investing in Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) companies worldwide. Font has expertise in strategy consulting, investment banking, and investment activities. He was part of the founding team of Cluster Consulting, a TMT consulting boutique in Europe during telecom sector liberalization, and later became the founder and CEO of Delta Partners. Delta has become a global reference as an advisor to C-suite executives, boardrooms and government officials in the telecom, media and entertainment, sports and technology sectors, expanding in all relevant international markets and with offices in the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. After joining FTI Consulting in mid-2020, Delta Partners became one of the foundations of FTI Delta, FTI Consulting’s strategy consulting practice.
Font’s professional experience is complemented by in-depth experience in the sports sector and football in particular, as he ran for president of FC Barcelona in 2021 and is actively working on an ambitious project to transform FC Barcelona, one of the most relevant and iconic institutions in the industry. He is also an investor and director at ARA, the first Catalan multiplatform media company launched in Barcelona in partnership with The International Herald Tribune and The New York Times. As an investor and mentor of tech startups, Font is actively supporting companies such as TwoJeys and Kognia, an AI-based software that leverages computer vision to perform real-time analysis of football games and players, among others.
Prior to co-founding Delta Partners, Font was a partner at Oliver Wyman (then DiamondCluster) in Sao Paulo, Barcelona and Dubai. He founded Oliver Wyman operations in the Middle East and grew it into a multimillion-dollar business before founding Delta Partners in 2006. At that time, Font was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee for Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
