Biography
Ozgur is a Managing Director and Senior Partner based in the Chicago Office. As a core member of the Healthcare and Strategy practices, Ozgur has demonstrated deep expertise by leading the Payer practice for North America, working across a broad spectrum of healthcare clients. His primary focus spans payers, providers, and healthcare services companies, where he brings a wealth of experience and industry insights.
With a career dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape, Ozgur partners with CEOs, senior executives, and boards to help drive innovation and redefine institutional growth strategies. He works closely with top management teams, guiding them through the complexities of healthcare’s future, enabling them to build strategies that are both visionary and actionable. By helping organizations translate these strategies into concrete change agendas, Ozgur empowers them to execute large-scale transformation efforts that deliver lasting impact.
Before joining BCG in 2011, Ozgur held a senior leadership role at Elevance, where he led Marketing and Product Development for Consumer Businesses. Prior to that, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., advising healthcare payers, providers, and financial institutions. His career began at Procter & Gamble, where he gained valuable experience in various management positions, honing his skills in business operations and leadership.
Ozgur holds an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan Business School and a BS with high distinction in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
