Biography

Kurt Shenk is a partner at RSM US LLP and the national technology sector leader for the firm.

Kurt has over 15 years of experience serving private equity-backed and public companies in the software, hardware, and semiconductor sectors. His expertise includes account management for complex, global, acquisition-oriented technology companies.

In 2018, Kurt was selected as an industry eminent for the technology, media, and telecommunications industry. The Industry Eminence Program positions senior analysts to understand, forecast, and communicate economic, business, and technology trends that are shaping the industries RSM serves.  As an analyst, Kurt has been published numerous times, spoken at various technology sector events nationwide, and served several of the firm’s largest clients.

In 2024, Kurt was recognized by Forbes in their inaugural list of Top 200 CPAs.  Kurt holds several professional affiliations and designations, including Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
