Jamie Ponting is a thought leader in technology consulting, recognised for his transformative contributions to the financial services sector. As a Co-Founder of Adeptli, Jamie leads a specialist consulting firm dedicated to guiding financial advice and wealth management businesses. Adeptli focuses on implementing cutting-edge fintech solutions, optimising operational strategies, and delivering AI-driven transformations to help firms navigate an evolving market landscape.

Jamie’s consulting expertise is underpinned by a career of significant achievements. He became the youngest-ever Chartered Financial Planner at just 23 years old, setting the stage for his innovative and thought provoking approach to financial and technology consulting. In 2020, Jamie’s dynamic leadership earned one of his teams the Celent Model Wealth Manager Emerging Technology Award for creating an intelligent automation solution that streamlined a critical advice process. In 2023, he was highly commended as a finalist at the FSTech Awards for his pioneering work in integrating AI into the financial advice process of a FTSE100 wealth manager. 

Before founding Adeptli, Jamie held senior roles, including the position as Head of Division for Strategy & Change at St. James’s Place, where he led high-impact initiatives in digital transformation and operational excellence within the financial advice space. His leadership in deploying emerging technologies has consistently driven efficiency and enhanced client outcomes across the industry.

Jamie also holds an Executive MBA with distinction from the University of Birmingham, where his studies further honed his strategic capabilities and saw his dissertation researching how the use of technology could reduce the advice gap in the UK. As a Chartered Manager, he blends technical expertise with leadership excellence, ensuring Adeptli remains at the forefront of innovation in financial consulting.
