James Davies is the Global Managing Partner at Consulum, a strategic advisory firm dedicated to supporting government clients, including heads of state, ministries, and state-owned enterprises. Previously, James held prominent roles within the UK Civil Service, including positions at 10 Downing Street under Prime Ministers Gordon Brown and David Cameron, and as a Senior Policy Adviser and Head of Budget Policy at HM Treasury. He led teams in developing fiscal, economic, and regulatory reforms, including a joint review with HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority. With extensive experience across three continents, James has worked with government leaders and organizations to drive economic and social development, enhancing their global influence and impact.
