The new Spectral Enabling Kits will improve the Navy’s current EW capabilities on deployed warships, supporting the Navy’s goal to respond effectively to dynamic and emerging threats in a complex operational environment. This work falls under the broader $1.2 billion ceiling contract with the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command.

CACI President and CEO John Mengucci noted that these enhancements reflect continued progress toward the Navy’s next-generation EW systems. He highlighted, “Our innovative, software-defined solutions—which are open, modular, and scalable—empower our Navy to command dominance across every domain. With this latest award, we continue to iterate toward the next-gen future state, by accelerating the Navy’s objective to rapidly and efficiently deploy mission-critical EW capabilities to sailors around the globe.” The new kits are designed to deliver immediate and adaptable capabilities, reinforcing the Navy’s commitment to fully implementing the Spectral program’s multi-domain mission.
